RSS Blog: Google "404s" Blogspot Splogs

Most of us have been pretty vocal about being SPLOG-hatas. Dave Sifry and other voices of the blogosphere have also made their opinions known and called on the Powers that Be to put an end to the madness.

I started looking around and all those Blogspot splogs are 404. What happened? Some investigation and I came across a lot of blogs like this one. This splog was using Adsense to monetize itself and Google has cut them off.

Go Google, go!

I wonder if this is the first victory for the Splog Reporter, or if Google's just managing this on their own. Either way, nice work. Let's hope other blog hosts, ad networks, and search engines follow suit.
