So I was looking at yesterday's post and I realized that it makes me (and, consequently, DigitalGrit) look like we're not fans of the whole blog/RSS movement.
On the contrary. I couldn't love blogs more, and I think RSS is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
If marketers aren't singing the praises of RSS right now, it's because they don't realize how accessible it is. Most of us aren't using NewsGator or Bloglines, for sure...but many of us who don't even know what RSS feeds are are picking up headlines for our customized homepages on My Yahoo or MSN. (I know my own Yahoo is picking up feeds from this blog, MarketingVox, Debbie Weil's blog and MarketingSherpa.
RSS is fabulous. And if marketers are slow to adopt this tool for their marketing and PR efforts, they're missing out -- big time.
